Surveys carried out by government and private companies consistently conclude that people with names from ethnic origins are less likely to make it past the first stage of CV review. In order to void selecting the wrong candidate, Ohcul has developed its own “hidden application” tool. Candidates name, email and social media are hidden from the initial review of the candidate CV to ensure initial decisions are unbiased.

We at Ochul have decided to champion diversity and inclusivity and urge our clients to do the same for the mutual benefit of both the candidate and the clients themselves. 

It should not matter who they are, they should be judged on what they can do and by discounting someone by their looks, their faith or their sexual or gender identification, businesses around the world are missing out on all these talented and highly motivated individuals have to offer.
