Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join a busy depot in Crawley, initially on a temporary contract with the view to becoming permanent.

This is a varied role supporting all aspects including; PA to GM, Finance, HR, Procurement and Business Support. Responsibilities include;

PA Support - preparing sales meeting agendas, taking minutes, managing GM diary, coordinating travel arrangements, processing expenses

HR - new starter administration, logging staff holiday & absence, creating and maintaining training records, handling employee queries

Operations - vehicle compliance checks, purchasing stock, H&S audits, assist with weekly/ quarterly stock takes

Finance - Chase Supplier POs, investigate invoice queries, daily banking, assist Credit Control, processing of invoices

This is a sole standing role so requires confidence in making decisions and working independently as well as the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from Operative to Director level. Previous management experience is essential, ideally within a Transport/ Production environment. Strong organisational skills are a must, as well as good working knowledge of MS Packages & various CRMs.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm paying between £13 - £15p/hr (experience dependant). Onsite parking available and accessible via public transport.
