Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Delighting current and prospective clients

Answering and screening telephone calls and emails
Meeting and greeting clients
Providing tea/coffee/refreshments to clients and visitors
Assisting with onboarding clients and obtaining HMRC authorisations

Assisting the Director with business development.
Undertaking discovery calls for new business enquiries
Assisting the Director with following up with business referrals and new leads
Assisting with various marketing activities

Delivering all the services you would expect from an Office Administrator / PA

Administrative responsibilities

Drafting letters/emails
Managing incoming and outgoing post
Scanning and filing – maintaining both hard copy and digital records
Ordering office stationary and consumables

PA to Director responsibilities

Diary management
Email management
Scheduling appointments
Arranging travel and hotel bookings where required
Liaising and communicating with the team on behalf of the Director

Other responsibilities

Incorporating companies for clients
Assisting with Company Secretarial work
Managing the Staff holiday calendar
Assisting with HR and recruitment matters where required

TECHNICAL SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE

Experience of working in a professional environment – Essential
Experience of working in an accountancy practice – Desirable
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner with direct client contact
Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
Fully conversant with MS Office; Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to work calm under pressure with high attention to detail and to deadlines
Self-motivated and work under minimal supervision
Work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: £17,500.00 to £20,000.00 /year
